THE BLACKSEA SHIPYARD Ünye shipyard is situated in the town of Unye within the Cevizdere village boundaries,and is located within the Unye harbour vicinity in the Ordu region. Our shipyard is a member of ALTINTAŞ A.Ş group.At the beginning of 2003 the site was identified as suitable for a shipyard and the plans were drawn up.By the end of 2003 plans had been approved and all relevant permits obtained.The building of the shipyard started at beginning of 2004.In march 2004 our sevice& repair facilities started operating. Up to the present day we have serviced/repaired 59 ship.Further developments have continued. Annual shipbuilding capacity is an avarage of 32.000 dwt.(8000dwt X 4).It meansTotal of 12.000 tons of plates are processed annually.Furthermore,approximately 10 vessel are provided with maintenance and repair services. |

The shipyard covers on an area of 31.000sgm.The shipyard extends 320 meters on the coast and the deepth from the sea toward and the land is an avarage of 100 meters.There are two concrete slipways,which are 130 meters in lenght,so the yard is capable of building up 150 meters in lenght ship construction.There is one 100.ton crane and two 80 ton portal cranes over the slipways.Furthermore the quay,which is 165 meters in lenght is active.The lenght of the quay would be extended to 260 meters with extensions to be built soon. We employ approximately 250 people on the site with construction projects this number can increase to 350workers per shift depending on circumstances. M/V Osman Nuri Ayanoğlu 5100dwt dry cargo vessel which were produced at first time our shipyard,was launched on 27th May in 2006.Currently,one 5100 dwt dry cargo vessel which name M/v Huriye Ana,two 7850 dwt chemical tanker and one 3050dwt dry cargo vessel are under construction. Our shipyard is fully equipped with all the relevant machinery and facilities.(CNC plasma,450t.capacity pres for shapping sheet metal,welding machines to specification,3X4 ton forklift,1X30 ton mobile crane,1X loader forklift,2X400 kwa transformer stations and a 250 kwa transformer stations and a 250 kwa generator etc.) We have a 2500m2 covered area that has three sections each equipped with a crane.
